I would just like to know why? Why do you take other peoples fabulous creative ideas and use them as your own? Why can't you come up with your own fabulous and creative ideas all on your own.
Let me tell you what it is like to see something that you have put your heart and creative soul and hard work into doing only to see that someone else has jumped on the creative bandwagon to use your ideas.
The heart sinks, the mind goes fuzzy, than frustration sets in, confrontation comes to mind then thought...that people that copy someone elses fabulous ideas is actually the biggest form of flattery. It takes a while to get over the initial shock that someone would have the nerve to do so...but thank you....Thank you for being so flattering.
Who gave you the right to copy? Um...NO ONE..
Please stop...as no one likes a copy cat.

River 94.9, Lilly's and a couple of WINS :)

Thanks for reading...I always forget to thank you. Here are some virtual flowers for you:
Aren't they so great. I bought these from PROVINCE...a beautiful shop at the top of town which I like to visit every now and then. These Lilly's are going on 2 weeks and they smell delicious. I wish I could spray you through the computer screen as you are reading so you too can enjoy the smell...Wouldn't that be funny...
I have decided to take the advertising plunge on radio, I know it works for The Handmade Expo so I thought I would give it a go for Handmade Heaven, however, I have added my personal touch to it. I went into the River 94.9 studio yesterday and recorded my own ad. WHY NOT? It was great fun and I loved doing it...Can't wait to hear it. So, keep your ears on River from Tuesday to Saturday for my ad.
I have also had a couple of runs of good luck in Blogland at the moment. I won this beautiful pendant from Valz dero Art, I just love it and it is soooo me. Thanks heaps.
I was also lucky enough to win this wonderful clutch from Shelley Berelli. These are my fave type of clutches cause you can wear it around your wrist and not worry about losing it. Thanks heaps as well, I love adding to my clutch collection.

This special will be run up until the 19th September or until stock has been SOLD. Did you need to stock up on your kiddies winter shirts for next year?...this is the time to do it. Cooper is going to be stoked about this...I can't wait to tell him :)

SUNDAY AND TWILIGHT TRADE
Hi Everyone.
So, lunch was delicious!!! Now, back to it.
I am super excited to announce that HANDMADE HEAVEN will be open this SUNDAY 30th August from 10am-2pm. Quite a few of the shops will be open as well...This is the last Sunday of the month to trade. TOP OF TOWN will be buzzing.
So, why not come and say hi this Sunday. Grab a coffee from Cactus, take a stroll through all the antique and op shops and scoot on down to Handmade Heaven.
I also have an exclusive announcement. Handmade Heaven, as well as the shop keepers of The Old Flour Mill are doing twilight trading. I know that Xmas is still (dare I say it) 4ish months away, and I know we are all thinking it! So, we have decided to give you every opportunity to do some fabulous shopping. So, every SECOND WEDNESDAY of the month until 7:30pm. The next one will be on Wednesday 9th September. Why not book a table at Viva Italia (the italian restaurant upstairs)...2 for 1 meals and then stroll on down to Handmade Heaven. You will need to book in advance as they fill up extra quick.

So, it is not very often where you see 3 posts in 1 day. I know, but I have so much goss and great stuff to show you.

Well, Keryn from Lillipilli Lane has adorned her hanging space with 2 more of these fabulous "Mamma EasyWear Skirts"...Now, speaking from experience, they are fabulous. I am not a skirt wearing type of gal, but I am going to start to be. I was going to buy both of them, but wanted to give you guys, my fabulous customers an opportunity to purchase one....So, here they are.

So, I am super excited to tell the world that I am now stocking Thea and Sami's beautiful linen Tea towels and Tote Bags.
I was lucky enough to get a visit from Thea on Saturday, a personal delivery, which was a nice touch.
The tea towels come with 3 different prints. Blue Butterflies, Red Mushrooms and Black Fish. The tote bags come with Brown Mushrooms and they are all just fabulous. They are all original designs and are hand-printed in their Brisbane studio using water-based, solvent-free inks. Fabric used is 100% Linen.

Ok, so I wanted to show you some fab things in Handmade Heaven.
Sweet Tea and Roses have been in to restock their space. CHECK IT OUT...they have some fabulous new shabby chic handmade goodies. Don't miss out and head on down for your fix. They are also now providing a range of ladies and kiddy aprons which you can find at the front of the shop in Handmade Heaven. HOW FABULOUS.
Another range of aprons that are gracing our shelves is done by our fabulous MEL. So different and unique. All wrapped up in a beautiful jar with some cookie cutters. What a fab gift for that small chef in your life. Only a couple of them at hand, so don't miss out on these.
We have a good selection of Fathers day cards as well. Don't forget that Fathers Day is on Sunday 6th September...We have a couple of gifts in store for that special DAD in your life.

So, I have found it...My camera that is...So, I have been around the shop happy snapping this morning.
I would like to introduce you to:
Keryn from lillipilli Lane who has placed her beautiful girls skirts and hair accessories in Handmade Heaven. I was lucky enough to also purchase one of her beautiful ladies skirt...which I am wearing today and of course had to blog it..
Say hi to Ang Stevens with her 2 beautiful spaces adorned with girly loveliness. From hair accessories to beautiful frames. So girly and lovely. Her business name is Angelina Plum and she is expanding to little boys frames as well...Better get in quick before I snatch it all up for Cooper!!!
Sandy has a new and fabulous invention. From her baby bouquets to these wonderful bath bunches. We have fathers day coming up on the 6th September, of course, we now have a pressie for Dad on his special day + there are ones for new Born's as well.
Kerry from LAMBS has come up with her fabulous receipe for KIDS ROCKY ROAD...soooo popular with the kiddies and just DELICIOUS.
Now, before I close this post, I would like to let you know that there is a big change happening in the Gifford household. It is not very often that I post PERSONAL events, but I wanted to let you all know. Mitchell, Cooper and I have put our house on the market and have decided for a tree change. TODAY PROGRAM...CHALLENGE HAS BEEN MET

So, I am super excited about this post.
A challenge was put out there to us to be seen and spoken to at Queens Park, Ipswich where the Today program was. So, Micky & I scooted up there at 7am this morning to BE SEEN AND HEARD (unfortunately Mum aka Bubba Chenille couldnt make it...can you imagine if the 3 of us were there!!!)

A new Handmadie and FABRICATED
Hi Everyone
Well, I am back on track...I think. As you know, The Handmade Expo is on this Saturday, so we are in our finalising stages of that...so it has been pretty busy market wise. If you aren't busy on Saturday, head on down to the Ipswich Turf Club, Brisbane Road, Bundamba between 8am - 2pm. Over 100 stalls of handmade goods + GOURMET FRESH as well, including Farmer Dave from Big Brother and Dancing with the Stars. Dave is a lamb farmer and will be selling and cooking up his meat! The shop has been amazing too...so I am very busy shop wise. SO GREAT.
Ok, so I would like to introduce you to Candice from Momieetenfant. The most gorgeous kiddies boutique clothing. Candice is gracing the front hanging rail with her beautiful work.
I also had a wonderful visitor today. Deb from Fabricated We had coffee and ate coconut ice. Yep, thats what we do. It was lovely to see you Deb, thanks for stopping by. HERE IS THE HANDMADE HAMPER
Hi Everyone.
As you know, The Old Flour Mill is getting together to have an EKKA DAY. Most of the shops are having EKKA SPECIALS including US.
A big thanks to all the Handmadies in Handmade Heaven who donated some of their fabulous handmade goodies to the Handmade Hamper which is being given away tomorrow.
Come into Handmade Heaven tomorrow and make a purchase and you will automatically go into the draw to win this fabulous hamper. I wish I could enter!!! I have decided to exclude myself on MORAL GROUNDS!!!
